have a gud antivirus(more then 3 months packs) with currents update..
do”t run microsoft updates..no need..
Use Disk Cleanup to:
Remove temporary Internet files.
Delete downloaded program files, such as Microsoft ActiveX controls and Java applets.
Empty the Recycle Bin.
Remove Windows temporary files, such as error reports.
Delete installed programs that you no longer use.
Remove unused restore points and shadow copies from System Restore.
use Disk Defragmenter
repair disk errors
turn off startup programs, many of them are useless and can be turned off.(use tune software)
turn off Windows Search indexing service is turned on for all local hard drives
Use a program called TeraCopy to speed up file copying in Windows XP and Vista.
If you have lots of files in a single folder, it can slow down Explorer. It’s best to create multiple folders and spread out the files between the folders.
Completely uninstall programs and applications using a program like Revo Uninstaller. It will get rid of remnants left behind by normal uninstalls.

Speed up your Internet browsing by using an external DNS server such as OpenDNS.
if u r using window xp..
1.start>>control panel>>network and internet connection>>
2 Right click on the network which u r using present.. go to properties
3then in GENERAL tabs ..select internet and protocol (double click)
4 from there select USE THE FOLOWING DNS SERVER ADDRESS set these two dns
208.67.222.123 (IN FIRST)
208.67.220.123.(IN SECOND)..
then click ok
info:-this open dns was created in 2010
you can also use older dns>>

RESULT:-ur net speed will increase absoultly…and also 2010 dns is family dns..
it avoid opening of all sex, and sex porn websites..(just check it out for this feature only)
to more Speed up Internet browsing in IE by increasing the number of max connections per server in the registry.
NOTE:-(u be care careful wile performing this steps otherwise i will effect ur registry..@no need to think more u can also backup the previous registry)
follow these steps
Click Start – Run.
Type “regedit” and click OK.
In the left pane navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\>>Software\>>>Microsoft\>>Windows>>\CurrentVersion>>\Internet Settings
In the right pane you should see the contents of Internet Settings.
IN right-hand column for the following two lines (values): MaxConnectionsPerServer AND MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server
If these values are present, right-click on the first value (MaxConnectionsPerServer), select Modify from the drop-down menu, click Decimal, and set the Value data field to 6. Repeat this process for the second value (MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server).
If these lines (values) are not listed, right-click on the white region of Regedit’s right-hand column, click New, and then click DWORD Value.
Enter MaxConnectionsPerServer for the name of the new DWORD Value and press Enter. The new value should now appear in Regedit’s right-hand column.
Right-click the new value and click Modify.
As in step six, click Decimal and set the Value Data field to 6, then click OK.
Repeat THE SAME steps FOR MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server as the new DWORD Value name 6
Close Regedit and test Internet Explorer…..

. If you use uTorrent to download torrents, you can increase the download speeds by tweaking the settings.
